World Bank through the PSSYNE and RUSLP Project
This funding stream has been specifically designated to support the tree tracking aspect of our project. By revising our funding allocation, we have ensured that the RUSLP Extension will cover the ongoing care and maintenance of our planted trees. The PSSYNE project’s investment is set to facilitate the planting of an additional 250,000 trees while enabling comprehensive tracking of every tree under the #FreetownTheTreeTown initiative. This approach not only bolsters our tree-planting efforts but also integrates technology into ecological management, ensuring each tree’s progress is monitored and celebrated.
Further strengthening our financial foundation is the additional funding provided by the RUSLP Extension. These resources are earmarked for the migration and localization of the #FreetownTheTreeTown TreeTracker system—a key tool for the project. The TreeTracker Interactive Web Map Platform is central to our efforts, as it visually demonstrates and tracks our reforestation progress. By supporting tracking, monitoring, and maintenance, this funding ensures that we have a robust, user-friendly platform to showcase our achievements and guide future efforts.
